Spurs fans received the perfect boost before the Champions League final as their North London rivals were thumped in the Europa League final in Baku.
Of course, being a Tottenham supporter isn’t always easy as many experienced throughout this season’s Champions League process, as the group stage wasn’t exactly fun and games.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side breezed past Borussia Dortmund after making it out of the group stage by the skin of their teeth, but things got a whole lot hard in the quarter-final stages as Manchester City rocked up.
A narrow win at the Etihad sent Spurs fans into a frenzy but that was nothing compared to the scenes in Amsterdam on the 8th of May as a late Lucas Moura goal booked Tottenham a place in the Champions League final.
Indeed, a Spurs fan called Sam Chippeck shared his journey through the lens of a camera as he went from the Nou Camp to watching the semi-final second leg in the comfort of his own home.
It comes as no surprise that Sam was so relieved to see Spurs make it to the final of the Champions League as the north London club were literally moments away from despair in Barcelona.
A truly remarkable journey that could go down in history.
