Sheffield United fans are probably still yet to get over their recent promotion to the Premier League, and things could get even better with the Championship trophy still up for grabs.
Chris Wilder has worked wonders this season having defied expectations at Bramall Lane, but the Sheffield club could find themselves back in the Championship if they fail to bring the right players this summer.
Interestingly, Sheffield United fan Ingood Nick believes that Chris Basham and George Baldock are two players who may not be good enough to make the step up to the Premier League, with Wilder needing to ‘improve in those areas’.
Basham has been one of the go-to men for Wilder in recent seasons and he’s taken his game up a level in the current campaign, but the step up to the Premier League could prove to be too much for the Englishman as the pace and power of some of the top-flight attackers could easily catch the 30-year-old out.
Meanwhile, Baldock has been a key figure in defensive and attacking areas for the Blades this season, but he may be seen as a weak point in the top-flight as he dives in quite a lot and makes some rash decisions.
Sheffield United fans, do you think Basham and Baldock would be able to handle the Premier League? Join in with the discussion by commenting down below!
