# ‘Please not for peanuts’ – Rangers fans on Twitter mixed over annoying transfer reports

**There hasn’t been an awful lot to shout about for the Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern this season, despite a raft of changes over the course of the summer.**

Indeed, our local Light Blues don’t believe Pedro Caixinha’s men are in much of a shape to beat Celtic this weekend after a 2-2 draw with Patrick Thistle last time out.

So, as if they weren’t frustrated enough already, [reports](https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/rangers-ace-alfredo-morelos-wanted-11198742) suggesting one of their star men is of interest elsewhere haven’t gone down overly well.

Alfredo Morelos, one of the only summer signings to have impressed our resident Gers, has been [touted](https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/rangers-ace-alfredo-morelos-wanted-11198742) as a potential Aston Villa target after a strong start to life in Glasgow.

The Colombian marksman has notched eight goals in nine games for Rangers since joining and has [apparently](https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/rangers-ace-alfredo-morelos-wanted-11198742) attracted interest elsewhere.

With that in mind, here’s a look at how Rangers fans reacted to the Morelos reports.

> A player like that shouldn’t go to a championship team. He could fit into the PL no problem if he keeps up his form
