# ‘Poch & Levy ought to go all out to get him’ – Fans demand Spurs move for star (not Barkley)

**Spurs fans here in the Transfer Tavern are a vocal bunch when it comes to potential deals their club can do, and a few have been casting an eye towards Everton this week amid the Romelu Lukaku saga.**

If you didn’t already know, the Belgian striker has [reportedly](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4313316/Romelu-Lukaku-tells-Everton-NOT-sign-new-contract.html) told the Merseyside club that he has no desire to sign a new contract at Goodison Park, hinting that a summer transfer is on the cards for him.

Given that the 23-year-old has hit a staggering 19 Premier League goals already this term – by no means a fluke given his fine record in England with both the Toffees and West Brom – suitors are likely to be plentiful in a few months’ time, and Spurs supporters here in the Tavern want their club to make an effort to lure him to White Hart Lane, even though [Ross Barkley](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/tottenham-plot-summer-transfer-raids-10041073) is supposedly their major target in blue.

And this point of view isn’t just held within these four walls, with supporters having been asking for the very same thing on Twitter…

> Poch & Levy ought to go all out to get him in summer.\
