The 20-year-old central midfielder was surplus to requirements in the eyes of Mauricio Pochettino for the duration of this season, so a loan deal to the Midlands has seen the youngster take up his footballing abilities for former Premier League side Aston Villa.
He’s enjoyed a constant first team opportunity in the side, with Steve Bruce giving him a big chance to develop.
Operating in an attacking midfield role has allowed for the youngster to become more expressive in his current state, compared to opportunities that have been given in a wide position at White Hart Lane.
But after continuing to impress and terrorize Championship defences, it looks as if he may have done enough to earn his chance in the first team next season.
