# Pochettino must utilise these 2 Spurs players as impact subs tonight to ensure a win

**Our Tottenham fans here in the Transfer Tavern are gearing up for what could be a tense evening at Wembley against Gent in the Europa League.**

It shouldn’t be, really, but Spurs have a habit of letting these kinds of games get to them and so our local Lilywhites punters are surely going to be on the edge of their bar stools for much of the match.

The men from north London go into it with a 1-0 deficit that needs overturning from the first leg against the Belgian side and so, here in the Transfer Tavern, we’re expecting a strong side from Mauricio Pochettino.

If things remain tight, though, he may have to utilise his bench and the options he has available to him at Wembley.

Our landlord thinks that may be the case, then, and so here are two players that should be used to have an impact off of the bench…

## Moussa Sissoko

Sissoko really has been sub-par this season but there’s every chance he could make an impact if he just got his head down.

He’s certainly a talented footballer when he wants to be and as we saw at EURO 2016, he does like a big game. Spurs could need him in the final 20 minutes and that could be the trigger needed to at last awaken him from his slumber and get a performance out of him.

## Harry Winks

Harry Winks is a very technically sound footballer and if the Belgian side manage to keep things tight at the back then he could be needed.

The Lilywhites really should have enough to get through but we thought that about the Champions League and so someone with the guile of Winks from central midfield could be needed. From his displays this season he’ll back himself to make the difference, too.
