# Potters £7m Transfer Off

[![Demba Ba](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/Demba-Ba-150x150.jpg)](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/2011/01/premiership/west-ham/pulis-takes-vs-grant-over-5-9m-striking-sensation/attachment/demba-ba/)Two days ago we brought you news that Hoffenheim’s Demba Ba was set to join Stoke in a £7m deal, we it looks like it’s all gone to pot.

The Senegalese International has failed a medical according to the club’s website and Stoke have called the deal off.

Chief exec, Tony Scholes, issued the following statement:

***“Having agreed all the financial terms of the deal with Hoffenheim and the player, he has failed his medical and we will not therefore be signing him on a permanent basis.”***

So what now for the Potters? Will they continue their search for a striker or will they use this as a wake up call for Tuncay and Eidur Gudjohnsen?

What do Stoke fans think? Should Tony Pulis continue to find his front man or just leave it be?
