Juventus could be interested in signing Wolves winger Adama Traore on loan in the January transfer window, according to a report in the last 48 hours.
The Lowdown: Traore out of favour at Wolves
The 26-year-old has become a peripheral figure during Bruno Lage’s reign at Molineux, being loaned out to Barcelona midway through last season.
A January exit is possible for the Spaniard and a new update believes he has one major suitor.
The Latest: Juve eye up January move
The report claims that the Serie A giants have ‘always followed’ the winger and could now make a move for him, in order to bolster their attacking options this season.
The Verdict: Best for all parties
In truth, it is reaching the stage where the sooner Traore seals a permanent move away from the Wolves, the better it will be for all concerned, even though Nuno Espirito Santo has described him as ‘amazing’ and ‘fantastic’ in the past.
Lage clearly doesn’t consider him a key player and his performances have too often lacked substance, with the Spain international never scoring more than six league goals in a season in his career.
Traore is exciting on his day, with his incredible speed arguably unrivalled – he once broke the Premier League speed record, clocking in at 37km/ h – but a January switch makes perfect sense, with a clause for a permanent exit next summer.
