# Tottenham Hotspur: Pau Torres set to move amid Spurs interest

The Spaniard’s contract is set to expire in [2024](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/pau-torres/profil/spieler/399776), but while Villarreal know that they could be resigned to his exit in January, they will demand a club-record fee for his services, which is believed to be upwards of £40m.

As a result of his potential availability, Tottenham are ‘very much considering’ a move to sign Torres.
