# Premier League star ready to push for Man United transfer

![maneeeee](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/maneeeee-500x306.jpg)Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern hoping for massive business in the summer have been given a major boost as they shelter from the Winter rain this afternoon, with a star ready to push for a deal.

[*The Sun*](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/transfernews/6914424/Manchester-City-transfer-news-Etihad-chiefs-target-Sadio-Mane-as-they-fight-rivals-United-for-his-signature.html)[state](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/transfernews/6914424/Manchester-City-transfer-news-Etihad-chiefs-target-Sadio-Mane-as-they-fight-rivals-United-for-his-signature.html) Sadio Mane has set his eyes on an exit from Southampton at the end of the season and the Senegalese international is keen to move to Manchester United.

23-year-old Mane has attracted vast interest with his starring performances for Southampton but he looks set to become the latest big-name to leave the South Coast in recent years, following the previous exits of Nathaniel Clyne, Luke Shaw and more.

[Reports state Mane has identified the contract he wants](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/transfernews/6914424/Manchester-City-transfer-news-Etihad-chiefs-target-Sadio-Mane-as-they-fight-rivals-United-for-his-signature.html) at Old Trafford, with a long-term deal worth £125k-a-week his aim.

Mane’s intention to leave is likely down to Southampton’s lack of European football chances, though United could find themselves snubbed by the African star should a side with Champions League football make him an offer.

Our landlord believes Mane to United is inevitable but reckons the Red Devils will have to pay a high price.
