‘1 billion for each’ – Man City fans on Twitter aren’t convinced with big transfer rumour

The Manchester City fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to the news that Real Madrid are targeting FOUR of their players in the upcoming summer window. A story in the Manchester Evening News claims that Florentino Perez has set his sights on Kevin De Bruyne, Leroy Sane, Raheem Sterling and John Stones, although he’s to be met with a firm refusal.

De Bruyne, Sane and Sterling have been particularly key for Pep Guardiola’s side as they’ve chipped in an incredible 48 goals between them in all competitions between them this season, despite the fact none of them start as strikers. The pricetags on the trio will be astronomical. De Bruyne has been the League’s second best player this season, behind Liverpool’s Mo Salah, whilst Sane recently won the PFA Young player of the year award.

Real Madrid have been linked with every in-form player under the sun over the last few months Eden Hazard, Salah, Harry Kane, Dele Alli and David De Gea are just a few more Premier League players who are being rumoured to make a switch to the Spanish capital in the summer. This all comes as a result of Los Blancos awful form in La Liga his season. The footballing goliaths are a whopping 15 points behind their El Classico rivals, Barcelona and Perez wants to see that gap clawed back next season.
