15-goal forward proves once again why PL teams like Arsenal should take notice

The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern want to see their side sign a forward this summer…

Olivier Giroud is a decent option, but he has struggled from the start this year, whilst Danny Welbeck is rarely available for selection given his injury history. It would certainly make sense, then, for the Gunners to sign a new forward.

A recent target that has been touted with a move to the Emirates is Alvaro Morata, but whilst the Spaniard is a great player, perhaps Arsenal should be taking notice of the forward that is making waves in the Europa League – Kasper Dolberg – with the striker impressing again earlier this week in Europe.

Whilst Ajax lost against Lyon on the night, the forward continued his fine form that has seen him fire in an impressive 6 goals in the Europa League so far this year – scoring Ajax’s only goal of the night.

It isn’t just his goals that have made Dolberg so good this year, though. A technical striker, he is more than comfortable with the ball at his feet. He offers a real potency in front of goal, but when coming deeper to collect the ball or hold it up, he is also able to deliver a long ball forward, setting up other players.

He has bagged a pretty remarkable 15 goals in the Dutch top flight this season, continually proving that he is amongst the top players in the division.

With every passing week, the striker continues to impress, leading our landlord into questioning why a top Premier League side hasn’t come in for him. Man Utd are likely to feel his wrath in the Europa League final, and clubs should be taking notice.

With Arsenal reportedly keen to signing Alvaro Morata in a whopping £50 million move – perhaps Wenger could look towards Dolberg for an option with far more quality.
