2 consequences of Man United signing Romelu Lukaku – Agreed?

Manchester United supporters in the Transfer Tavern are delighted at the reports that they’ve agreed on a deal to sign Everton’s Romelu Lukaku.

Things were seemingly quiet on the Old Trafford front following the arrival of Victor Lindelöf, now United’s transfer activity is brimming with life once more having agreed a reported £75M deal to sign Romelu Lukaku. Since the 24-year-old’s departure from Chelsea in 2014, the striker has testified his status as one of the most lethal forwards in European football.

The Belgian has scored 71 goals in 133 games for Everton, a purely marvellous total. This reflects the success he’s achieved throughout his professional career. At the age of just 24, the Toffees forward has already scored 145 goals in 317 appearances, a truly stunning statistic that displays Lukaku’s goal-scoring aptitude.

Our landlord has opted to look at two consequences that could derive from Lukaku’s arrival at Manchester United this summer.
