Liverpool and Crystal Palace's seasons are having quite contrasting fortunes to say the least at the moment.

While the Reds continue to challenge at the top of the Premier League, the Eagles continue to struggle somewhat down near the bottom of the table as Roy Hodgson appears to be struggling to get the best out his side.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is blessed with a superb squad at his disposal this time around, and it would be little surprise to see the Reds right in the Championship mix come the end of the season.

However, we at the Transfer Tavern think that a few new signings wouldn't go amiss for the Reds, and with the mention of Palace, we believe a couple of Eagles players have the potential to fit right in with the squad at Anfield.

With that thought in mind, we've taken a look at TWO Crystal Palace players who would fit right in at Liverpool...

Wayne Hennessey

Not the obvious choice, but Hennessey has proved himself to be quite the goalkeeper over the last few years, and with the Reds only really having Brazilian Alisson as a reliable stopper, Hennessey would be a smart signing.

Big, a an excellent shot stopper, and with plenty of experience, the former Wolves man would be the ideal number two at Anfield.

Wilf Zaha

A more obvious choice but a player who would fit in with most teams in the top flight, Zaha has been the main man once again for Palace and his manager Roy Hodgson.

Lightning quick, excellent with the ball, and now adding goals to his game when needed, Zaha would surely relish the chance to go and play with the likes of Mo Salah and Sadio Mane at Anfield.
