It is fair to say that the Everton fans in the Transfer Tavern are feeling a bit nervous about the summer transfer window.
With many transfer rumours flying around the Tavern, the hope is that Ronald Koeman can build on an impressive first season at Goodison Park and get in the players he needs to take the club to next level, which is surely qualification for the Champions League.
Of course, there is a lot of talent at the club with the youth system at the club producing a lot of talent in recent years, with the last season especially prominent in terms of player development.
Our landlord believes the Toffees in the Tavern have a lot to look forward to in the long run and there is a young nucleus in the current Everton squad that can be built upon.
However, with that said, that does not mean that this summer will be a walk in the park for Koeman and the hierarchy at Everton.
