Chelsea are looking the business this season under new manager Mauro Sarri, and the January transfer window represents a chance for the Blues to add even more quality to the ranks.

While the squad at Stamford Bridge is a talented one, there is always room for improvement in any team, and we at the Tavern think that there are a few players out there who could massively improve Sarri's squad.

One place which is full of talent is over in Spain in La Liga, and over the years we have seen plenty of talent arrive in England from Spain and go on to have massive success.

With that in mind, we've taken a look at TWO La Liga players who Chelsea should look to sign during the January transfer window...

Rodrigo

Spanish forward Rodrigo has been in superb form for the last couple of seasons now and he would fit right in at a club like Chelsea if they could sign him.

The pacey forward has shown his quality on the biggest stage too, being a regular for Spain too, and he would be a superb addition to the attacking prowess which the Blues already possess.

Jose Gaya

A teammate of Rodrigo at Valencia, the flying Spanish fullback is one of the best in Europe on his day.

Capable of dominating the left hand side with his marauding runs from deep and electric pace, Gaya would be a superb deputy to Marcos Alonso at the Bridge, and would give Sarri the option of using Alonso higher up the field if needed.
