Liverpool supporters have been in high spirits in the Transfer Tavern in the last few hours after seeing their side thrash Bournemouth 4-0 at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday, a result which moved them back into the Premier League’s top four.
Jurgen Klopp’s men went into their clash on the South Coast off the back of successive draws with Everton and West Brom, but the result was never in doubt on Sunday as the Reds produced another attacking masterclass to move back into the division’s top four. Goals from Philippe Coutinho, Dejan Lovren, Mohamed Salah, and Roberto Firmino secured a comprehensive victory for Klopp’s side, who took advantage of Tottenham’s 4-1 defeat to Manchester City a day earlier to move back into fourth place in the table.
Consequently, there have been many thrilled Liverpudlians in the Tavern in the last few hours, several of whom are looking ahead to the forthcoming January transfer window and thus who their team should sign to bolster their ranks in the second half of the season.
However, recent reports have linked one Reds star with a move away in the New Year, namely young winger Ryan Kent, who is currently on loan at German side Freiburg but could reportedly be recalled in January.
