Tottenham's season so far has been a tough one to predict, and that's true of quite a few player performances, too. The Lilywhites have a very strong squad, but far too often, individuals are too inconsistent.
Of course, there are players like Harry Kane, and others, that consistently perform, but there are also a few individuals that leave a lot to be desired.
So, with the season trudging along nicely, and with January on the horizon, it's fair to say that a handful of players seriously need to improve.
Indeed, you could even argue that there are a couple of players that are genuinely playing for their careers at the club.
With that said, these 2 Spurs men will surely be axed in January unless they improve - agreed?
Fernando Llorente
Fernando Llorente has never really been able to make it work at Tottenham.
The former Swansea man came to the club with a proven track record of goalscoring, but being in the shadow of Harry Kane has proven to be a rather significant problem for him.
The Spaniard has lacked the characteristic lethality that had previously made him so useful, and he's proving to be a bit of a waste in North London.
Pochettino needs a second forward upon which he can rely - and Llorente isn't that guy at the moment.
Georges-Kevin N'Koudou
Georges-Kevin N'Koudou is a player that's never really been given much of a chance at Tottenham.
He looked good during pre-season, yet this term he's not had much of a look-in, and it's been that way for much of his time at the club. The attacker clearly has talent - that much is clear - but the jury is still out on whether he's good enough to be a regular at the club.
Still, the quality on display for the club means that if he does get a chance, he needs to take it with both hands, and even that might not be enough.
Barring a miracle, a departure seems to be a likely outcome.
