2 players who could follow Kevin De Bruyne out of Manchester City in January

Manchester City supporters have been making all the noise in the Transfer Tavern so far this season after seeing their side make a wonderful start to the campaign, which got even better on Tuesday as the Citizens edged past Feyenoord 1-0 to seal top spot in Group F of the Champions League.

Pep Guardiola’s men were tipped by many to go on and win the Premier League title this season, and they have certainly made their intentions clear by winning 11 of their opening 12 league games, with Everton the only side to have taken a point off the North West outfit. And the Citizens have backed up their fine league form with an equally impressive European campaign thus far, with Raheem Sterling’s late goal enough to secure a fifth win out of five against Feyenoord on Tuesday night, thus securing top spot in Group F.

Consequently, there have been many delighted City fans in the Tavern in recent times, with many already eagerly anticipating their team’s return to Premier League action on Sunday when they travel to David Wagner’s Huddersfield Town.

In the meantime though, there has been plenty for our resident Citizens supporters to get their teeth into, not least recent reports which have linked midfielder Kevin De Bruyne with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.

The Belgium international has been in sensational form for City so far this term with four goals and nine assists in 18 matches in all competitions, three goals and six assists of which have come in the Premier League.

And his excellent form has reportedly attracted the interest of European champions Real, and were De Bruyne to indeed make the move to the Spanish capital in January, here are TWO other City stars who could follow him out of the Etihad Stadium…
