Chelsea’s summer is well underway, and it’s fair to expect a few busy weeks at Stamford Bridge. Maurizio Sarri has well and truly arrived, and he’s likely to have an impact on the squad in more ways that one before the season begins.
You’d expect that, in terms of training and tactical methods, there will be a seismic shift in terms of how the Blues will be run, but changes in the playing squad seem likely too.
Jorgrinho has already joined the club, and according to the Express, Gonzalo Higuain is another target for the Blues. Currently playing for Juventus, Higuain is one of Europe’s finest forwards.
Despite his quality, though, the prospect of the Argentine’s arrival isn’t likely to be unanimously supported by Chelsea fans. To the contrary, it’s likely to generate a lot of division given that there are both pros and cons to a move for him.
