Manchester United's season sees to have picked up some sort of momentum, while Southampton continue to have big struggles down at the bottom.

The Saints are looking to climb their way out of danger in the coming months, while United will be hoping to find an element of consistency and start putting some pressure on the top clubs in the Premier League far this season.

However, with such a talented squad on paper, there's little reason we should be seeing Southampton struggle so much, and we even think that a few players within the Saints squad could do a job at Old Trafford if given the opportunity.

Much like left back Luke Shaw has done, some Saints players will fancy their chances at United, who remain one of the biggest clubs in the world.

With that in mind, we've identified TWO Southampton players who could fit in at Manchester United...

James Ward-Prowse

The young England midfielder has long been a standout talent at St Mary's, and there is every chance he could perform on a higher level if given the chance.

Classy with the ball and deadly with set pieces, Ward-Prowse is more than capable of doing the business at a big club like United.

Ryan Bertrand

Despite United having Luke Shaw at left back, they look short of options if the England man is injured, meanining Bertrand could be a brilliant signing.

The former Chelsea man has improved massively over the last few years and remains one of the most consistent attacking fullbacks in the Premier League.

Dependable, and still with room for improvement, Bertrand would be a shrewd addition for the Red Devils.
