Chelsea and Watford have both been having superb seasons in their own right so far this term.

The Blues are challenging right up at the top of the Premier League, while the Hornets are sittig nicely in mid-table and putting in some superb performances of their own throughout the course of the current campaign.

However, Chelsea will for the time being remain the bigger draw for potential players, and when it comes to making new signings, the Blues are always going to be ahead of their London counterparts in terms of attracting the big name players.

This applys to the Watford squad too, where a selection of the Hornets squad would no doubt be good enough to be excellent signings for Mauro Sarri's men at this moment in time.

With this in mind, we at the Tavern have taken a look at TWO Chelsea players who would fit in with the current Chelsea squad...

Roberto Pereyra

The Argentinian has been simply sublime this season in his showings, and has looked more than capable of earning a move to one of the s0-called big boys in the Premier League.

Pereyra has bags of potential to be even better too, and with the future of Eden Hazard still up in the air at Stamford Bridge, signing the classy attacker could be a shred move by the Blues.

Will Hughes

Long regarded as one of the finest young talents that England has, Hughes has taken his time to get going but now seems to be playing some excellent stuff.

Given how Sarri has developed the form of Ross Barkley, and with how Chelsea play through their midfield, signing Hughes would prove to be a superb piece of business by Chelsea.
