The Chelsea fans at the Transfer Tavern aren’t happy about United’s Lukaku swipe and are now looking elsewhere for a replacement for Costa.

It is looking more and more likely that Diego Costa is on his way out of Stamford Bridge, despite the fact that Conte’s main transfer target, Romelu Lukaku snubbed the Premier League champions preferring a move to Manchester United.

With AC Milan and Atletico Madrid looking like the front runners for the Spaniard’s signature, Conte has reportedly slapped a £60 million price tag on the player.

There isn’t much that can be done to improve the Chelsea squad, obviously a new striker will need to be brought in to replace the departing Costa but where else could the money be spent to improve the champions’ squad?

Defensively they’re sound, their midfield is one of the best in the league and they have one of the best keepers in the world.
