The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern have been delighted with the fine form of Eden Hazard this season…
The Belgian midfielder has been on fire this year, offering an electric engine and unrivalled technical ability down the left-hand side of the Chelsea attack.
Indeed, it appears as though the fans in the pub aren’t the only keen admirers of Hazard, with Marca reporting that Real Madrid remain interested in a deal to sign the Belgian.
According to Marca, Hazard is learning Spanish – which has been taken a signal that he is ready to move – whilst Los Blancos are likely to make an approach as Zidane looks to improve his side this summer.
This has come as a big blow to the Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern, with Hazard – who reportedly earns £200,000 per week – undoubtedly Chelsea’s most important player this season. He has scored 11 goals this season, which is a sign that he is truly back to his best.
The front three of Hazard, Costa and Pedro have been fantastic this season, and with Costa recently refusing to rule out a transfer away – it could be all change at Chelsea this summer.
