You can hardly keep Chelsea fans here in The Transfer Tavern quiet right now. Their team are champions of England, playing excellent football and are in a position to strengthen even further this summer with cash to burn in the upcoming transfer window.
Teams have a real problem on their hands in trying to build a squad capable of taking on Antonio Conte’s men, who showed a steely consistency this season that you’d expect will be on full display again after the summer.
Conte doesn’t need to go crazy in the transfer market, as Chelsea are already well placed in the English football betting odds for next season, but two or three players of real quality could be the difference between another season of success and one of perceived failure.
A key aim will also be making an impact on the UEFA Champions League to complement their Premier League bid. In order to achieve that he’ll need to bring in players with experience of Europe’s biggest club competition to feature here: https://oddsdigger.com/tips.
A man who fits that bill is Tiemoue Bakayoko, who The Telegraph say is on the verge of a £35m move to Stamford Bridge, with the deal progressed so far that he’s due to have a medical at the club.
The central midfielder has been in exceptional form for fashionable Monaco this season both in Ligue 1 and, crucially for Chelsea, in the Champions League too.
In a midfield that already boasts N’Golo Kante, pairing him with Bakayoko could make the Blues an unstoppable force.
What do you think Chelsea fans? Are you happy that your club are on the verge of signing Monaco’s star midfielder or were you holding out for another talent in the middle of the park?
