The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern have been waiting for news on the future of Zlatan Ibrahimovic…
Currently out with an injury, the Swedish forward’s contract at Man Utd is set to expire this summer, leaving many in the pub unsure whether the Red Devils would look to renew the deal.
Now it appears as though the fans can wonder no more, with Sky Sports, citing Sky Sources, revealing that Man Utd are unlikely to offer Zlatan Ibrahimovic a new deal this summer.

Despite the fact that it looks set to come to an end after one year, there is no doubting that Ibrahimovic’s tenure in the Premier League has been a success. Taking to English football like a duck to water, the Swedish forward led the line fantastically for the Red Devils – scoring 17 league goals throughout the course of the campaign.
However, with Marcus Rashford rising through the ranks, there is less of a need for the veteran forward next year, particularly given that Man Utd have been touted with a move for Alvaro Morata as of late.
Ibrahimovic, who reportedly earns £220,000-per-week, is now 35-years-old, and so our landlord is expecting the Swede to perhaps look to move abroad as he looks to wind his career down.
