Wolverhampton Wanderers fans are probably still yet to get over the heartbreak of throwing an incredible position away in the FA Cup, as a late penalty ruined everything for the Midlands club.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side now need to focus on securing a European spot from here on in until the end of the season, as it would allow them to go out and bring in even more big-name players this summer.
Although, one Wolves player who could attract interest this summer is Ruben Neves. Interestingly, the Portuguese ace is valued at £40 million according to CIES (via Daily Mail), which seems way too low.
Neves may have struggled to adjust to life in the Premier League but he’s now showing everyone exactly what he’s capable of with his incredible array of passes and long-range strikes from outside the box. And, the defensive side of his game has come on leaps and bounds too as he continues to become a more well-rounded player.
He’s only 22-years-old with his best years still ahead of him and he has all the ingredients to become on of the best midfielders in Europe if he continues to progress. His performances since joining Wolves warrant £40 million alone, so it seems crazy to think that his overall value stands at £40 million.
Wolves fans will agree that £40 million is an absolute joke as the Midlands club would never accept that kind of price for the Portuguese international. He could easily step into any side in the Premier League and has the ability to excel in the Champions League, just like he did at FC Porto, so Wolves would expect a lot more if they end up selling.
Wolverhampton Wanderers fans, surely Ruben Neves is worth a lot more than just £40 million? Join the discussion by commenting down below!
