24-year-old forward could seek transfer on one condition, Arsenal and Chelsea both interested

Whilst both the Arsenal and Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern have been impressed with what they’ve seen from their sides so far this season, both sets of fans are hoping to see their side improve next year…

After all, Arsenal and Chelsea are two of Europe’s most high-profile teams – and both sides have struggled in recent years. Arsenal’s failure to recapture the Premier League title has been well documented, whilst Chelsea are still healing the wounds of the disaster that befell them last season.

Both sets of fans were pretty delighted when they heard reports stemming from Spanish radio station Cadena Ser on Thursday evening, then, that suggested that Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata could be set for a Real Madrid departure next summer.

According to Cadena Ser, Morata is keen to leave the Bernabeu if Zinedine Zidane continues as manager of Los Blancos, given the lack of trust and game time that the Spaniard reportedly believes he has received.

Unsurprisingly, news of this potential transfer has excited the fans in the Transfer Tavern, with Morata undoubtedly one of Europe’s finest attackers. It hasn’t quite happened for him at Real Madrid so far, owing to the lack of game time under Zidane, but for Juventus, the Spaniard was very impressive.

He scored 7 goals and made 7 assists last season, and with the Arsenal and Chelsea fans in the Tavern not convinced by the long-term suitability of Olivier Giroud and Michy Batshuayi respectively, Morata is definitely a player that they would like to see come to their club.
