3-4-2-1: If Pochettino picks this Spurs XI, they’ll cause Bournemouth major damage

All of a sudden it seems that Spurs have ignited the title race, and our resident Lilywhites are strapping themselves in for a grandstand finish in the Premier League.

Although Mauricio Pochettino’s men sit seven points of leaders Chelsea, could Spurs achieve the impossible and win their first Premier League?

Forever the realist, our landlord in the Tavern would be surprised to see anyone but Chelsea win the league but knows pressure will tell if Spurs continue to win their remaining fixtures within the season.

The return of Harry Kane last weekend has coincided with the league run in and there is no doubt that Spurs fans in the Tavern are thrilled to have their talisman back, although the results were still positive in Kane’s absence.

Bournemouth are the visitors to White Hart Lane this weekend and with the Cherries having the third worst defence in the league this season, our landlord feels the goals could flow if Eddie Howe’s men aren’t careful.

Although – saying this, when these two sides met earlier in the season at the Vitality Stadium, Bournemouth managed to scrap it out for a goalless draw which shows they can hold the best in the league on their day.

With that said, the resident Spurs fans in the Tavern have outlined the line up that Pochettino must go with in order to make sure they get a result against Bournemouth.
