The less said about the start that West Ham have made this campaign the better here at the Transfer Tavern.
With the next five games vital in the Hammers’ season – up next is Burnley at home this Wednesday.
After a great draw at Anfield this past Sunday, could this be the start of the turn around for the east Londoners? Our West Ham punters here at the Tavern sure hope so.
With Burnley up next it could be a great chance for the Hammers to turn their season around and show the passion that we’ve all come to love about the club.
Sitting just above the relegation zone after an amazing season last term, it is easy to see why their punters are getting more and more fed up.
With some very poor improvements made in the summer – the club may look to rectify that come January in order to ensure a top half finish, and then pushing on from there in the next few seasons.
But for now, Bilic who is under heightened scrutiny, has it all to do with the squad he has got.
The Croat seems to have finally been able to put together a team that are at least putting some pressure on other teams but still look very shaky at the back.
