You just never know what you are going to get from Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp.
The Reds have been about as consistent as Mark Clattenburg’s refereeing – which, for the record isn’t very consistent at all – either showing up to put in wonder performances like those at Chelsea this weekend and at the Emirates on the opening day, or slumping to dismal defeats such as that suffered at the hands of newly promoted Burnley a fortnight or so ago.
The fluctuation in performances and results makes hard watching for Liverpool fans, however none would probably argue that their side have certainly improved under Klopp, and look genuine top four contenders at this point in the season – given they show up more often than not.
A host of summer signings have made a starting XI place at Anfield a sought over thing however, especially going forward, with the Reds having 4 forwards at their fortunate disposal.
So who is to blame for the inconsistency? Or who’s time is up given the depth of the squad? Our local fans at the Tavern think these THREE players’ tenures on Merseyside are nearing an end …
