3 reasons why Spurs will batter West Brom today at White Hart Lane

The Spurs and West Bromwich Albion supporters have gathered here in the Transfer Tavern to witness their side face off this lunchtime, with both teams looking to continue their positive recent form.

Spurs disposed of Aston Villa in the FA Cup last weekend whilst in stark contrast the Baggies were dumped out at the third round stage by an impressive Derby County from the Championship.

Tony Pulis’ side have, however, been one of the Premier League’s surprise packages this season and currently sit eighth in the league with many of their supporters who come drinking in the Tavern, absolutely delighted to not see their side struggling down near the bottom of the division.

The Spurs fans who have gathered close to the big screen ahead of the big game are also in jubilant spirits, with many of the group predicting that they can run Chelsea close for the title this season.

Ahead of this Premier League contest, Lee Clarke looks at three reasons why Spurs will batter their counterparts from the West Midlands this afternoon.
