3 summer signings Arsenal must be looking into right now

Arsenal are back on track after a 2-0 win over Hull last time out in the Premier League, and the Gunners fans here at the bar in the Tavern are still hopeful of a top four finish this term.

The Gunners are having a similar season to that what they usually have, with some fans calling for Arsene Wenger to leave and other fans happy with the job he is doing.

A lot of the talk this week here in the Transfer Tavern has been about who the Gunners will look to bring in this summer to strengthen the squad and finally mount a title challenge.

Our landlord thinks Arsenal are not too far away from being the top dogs in the Premier League, and we agree.

With this in mind, here are THREE summer signings Arsenal should be looking into right now…

Isco

The Real Madrid man is a true class act, and with talk around Mesut Ozil and his future at the club, Isco could be the ideal man to step into the void if he left.

The Spanish international is a tremendous midfield player, and would definitely fit in well with the Gunners and their style of play.

Max Meyer

The young German midfielder is one of the hottest prospects on the continent, and he could well be someone who plenty of clubs take a look at in the summer.

He is going to need to move on from Schalke in order to further his career, and a move to the Gunners could well appeal to Meyer should he look to make the switch this year.

Virgil Van Dijk

The Southampton defender has turned into one of the best performers in the Premier League, and he will no doubt be the subject of plenty of interest in the summer.

The big Dutch defender is a class act, and with Arsenal looking to add some steel to their team, he fits the bill perfectly.

It would be a big statement from the club if they were able to tempt someone of his quality to the Emirates from a fellow Premier League rival.
