3 things we learned from Man United’s 4-0 hammering of West Ham United

The Manchester United fans here in the Transfer Tavern believe they are genuine contenders for the Premier League this season following their thrashing of West Ham.

Jose Mourinho’s side dispatched the Hammers 4-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday to set the tone for the 2017/18 campaign.

It appears Mourinho may have solved his goalscoring problem after Romelu Lukaku netted twice on his league debut.

Anthony Martial stepped off the bench to make it three before Paul Pogba scored a fourth late on.

The Red Devils tallied just 26 Old Trafford goals last term, two less than relegated Hull City.

It’s a great start for United, but it is just one game – and West Ham were poor.

Slaven Bilic would have been furious with Arthur Masuaku’s laughable attempt to defend for Lukaku’s opener, while Javier Hernandez received little support going forward.

Take a look at THREE things we learned from United’s 4-0 win…
