Crystal Palace will be looking ahead to the weekend’s fixture with Brighton and Hove Albion as they look to secure Premier League survival and fans in the Tavern will be hoping the club can seal a game out properly.
The Eagles have been on the end of a couple of late goals in recent weeks, which has seen them drop a number of points and put them in a worse position in the table when things could have been rosier. Indeed, the need for results has not stopped the planning for summer recruits, with Roy Hodgson identifying a number of targets to help them improve. One of those players that could be targeted is Josh Murphy, brother of Newcastle man Jacob, as the Eagles look to add some firepower into their ranks.
According to reports, the Mirror are claiming the Eagles are keen on bringing the Norwich winger to Selhurst Park, after impressing in the Championship and scoring 10 goals this season. It is believed the Canaries are strapped for cash so Palace locals will be confident they can get a deal done for the 23-year-old.
The Crystal Palace fans in the Tavern will be hoping their side can ensure Premier League safety first, however, many will be encouraged by the transfer targets they have on their radar. Murphy would be a good addition to the team and would make a threatening wing attack with Wilfried Zaha on the opposite flank.
