£35m striker open to Liverpool transfer

AubameyangLiverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern almost choked on their peanuts today when they read that one of Europe’s most exciting strikers is allegedly open to a move to Anfield.

The Reds have seen themselves linked to a host of names since Jurgen Klopp’s appointment as the club’s new manager last weekend, with the majority of the reported targets coming from Klopp’s former side, Borussia Dortmund.

Whilst Klopp is prepared to give Liverpool’s entire squad a chance to prove themselves before making any final decisions, £35m-rated Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is open to joining the Anfield side in 2016.

A source told The Sun that Gabon international Aubemyang, also a target for Barcelona, would be open to a Premier League move.

“An offer of joining Liverpool now Jurgen is there would be an attractive proposition.”

Aubameyang is in scintillating form so far this term as he found the net ten times in Dortmund’s opening eight Bundesliga matches, a league record, which brings his tally to 40 goals in his first 60 starts for the German giants.
