4-2-3-1: This is the Tottenham XI to batter Jamie Vardy and Leicester City to bits tonight

Tottenham fans here in the Tavern are beginning to feel a sense of anxiety, as the tide seems to be turning for the North London club.

Tottenham Hotspur have shocked the world with their terrific start made to the Premier League season, forcing bookies to reevaluate them as potential title challengers.

The Mauricio Pochettino Express just keeps on steaming through, rolling over any competitors that have attempted to get in the way.

Fanatics here in the Tavern are absolutely delighted with the start their side have made to the season, a one-way ticket to dreamland has given an enjoyable early holiday for the Lilywhites faithful.

However, a slight blimp in form has been an unwelcome experience for everyone involved, after a 2-0 loss at the hands to bitter rivals Arsenal in the North London Derby, followed by a 1-1 draw in the comfort of their Wembley surroundings against relegation battling West Bromwich Albion.

Could teams have found a cure to this Pochettino masterclass?

Indeed, a certain mood swing can be noticed in the Tavern, due to Spurs fans taking up a slight hint of concern following their uncharacteristic performances in their past couple of matches, after missing out on gaining some ground due to surrounding sides; Liverpool and Chelsea both dropping points.

With many improvements to be made, Pochettino and his men turn their attention to face Claude Puel and his Leicester City side in a match of added importance after the recent run of form.

So a vital 90 minutes awaits, but don’t worry Spurs fans, if the Argentine fields this Tottenham XI will breeze past their opponents at the King Power Stadium…
