Arsenal picked up a much needed victory at West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, ending a run of back-to-back Premier League defeats which has seen the pressure grow on Arsene Wenger.
The game at The Hawthorns marked the return of Olivier Giroud to the Gunners’ starting line-up with the French international striker having been out of action since August.
It has been the same old story with regards to injuries for Arsenal this season.
Arsene Wenger failed to strengthen appropriately in the summer and has been punished with long-term injuries to Giroud, Laurent Koscielny, Mathieu Debuchy, Aaron Ramsey, Mesut Ozil, and most recently Jack Wilshere.
As we enter December and head into the crucial Christmas and new year period, Wenger knows he simply cannot afford any more big injuries before the transfer window opens next month.
