Arsenal recorded a much needed Premier League win at the weekend, beating Sunderland 0-2 at the Stadium of Light.
The Gunners were certainly given a helping hand towards their third Premier League win of the season, with Wes Brown and former Gunners goalkeeper Vito Mannone gifting both goals to the ever-impressive Alexis Sanchez.
But that won’t concern Arsenal fans much who instead are choosing to focus on just what a top signing the Chilean international is looking already.
Having signed from Barcelona in the summer, Sanchez has taken to English football immediately, scoring seven goals and providing three assists in all competitions already.
Whilst Arsenal have closed the gap on league leaders Chelsea to nine points this weekend, there is still plenty of work to be done if they are to reach the standards expected of them this season.
Many players could do with following the lead of Sanchez, who is already looking a snip at £35 million.
It is still early days of course and before Arsenal fans get too ahead of themselves, we have identified five players who started their Arsenal careers in just as impressive form – some of which lasted, and some of which didn’t.
