It seems that Liverpool have been the busiest of the Premier League clubs so far this summer in terms of transfers, with Brendan Rodgers driving a major recruitment process in order to get the Reds back challenging for the top four.
His January signings of Philippe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge inspired Liverpool to a much improved second half of the season, meaning if the signings this time around are right, optimism will be high going into the opening day of the season at Anfield.
One unenviable task for the Liverpool manager however is replacing legendary defender Jamie Carragher, who retired at the end of the season.
It will prove a monumental task, with Carragher even at 35 last season, proving he is still a top class defender. The shaky form of Martin Skrtel and Sebastian Coates will not help matters either, and despite what could prove the astute signing of Kolo Toure on a free transfer from Manchester City, Brendan Rodgers will need to make signing another top centre back his priority, if Liverpool are going to improve next season.Like what the TT have on offer?
