Arsenal fans have spent the vast majority of the summer transfer window waiting for an official announcement on the signing of Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain, which has so far been in vain.
Arsene Wenger is yet to spend any of his supposed £70 million transfer budget, and despite thc constant speculation surrounding which players may be joining the club, nothing concrete has happened as of yet.
