The Premier League returns this weekend, and Chelsea fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are especially excited.
They will have the chance to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League when they welcome Everton to Stamford Bridge in the lunchtime kick off.
Jose Mourinho has continued to tell anyone who will listen that his side are the ‘little horse’ in this season’s title race, and that winning the Premier League is ‘not the objective’.
But whilst second was be a ‘fantastic achievement’ for the Blues, three points tomorrow would put the pressure on Manchester City and Arsenal later in the day to bounce back from their European disappointments in midweek.
The Blues have really come into their own since Christmas, and have won five of their last six matches, including what could prove a season defining three points at the Etihad Stadium.
Mourinho however will continue to insist his team is a work in progress, and that Chelsea will be ready to challenge on all fronts at the start of next season once he has done his summer transfer shopping.
Reports suggest a fair few new faces could be arriving at Stamford Bridge in the summer from sunny Spain.
With that in mind, we have identified five La Liga stars that could be on Chelsea’s summer transfer radar.
