Chelsea continue to go from strength to strength, and head into their clash with Manchester United on Sunday on the back of two consecutive wins since the international break.
Saturday saw a hard fought 1-2 win at Crystal Palace, in a fixture that was the perfect example of the difference between the Chelsea of 2014-15 and 2013-14.
The Blues title challenge faltered at Selhurst Park last season, going down to a 1-0 defeat after a John Terry own goal.
But Cesc Fabregas produced the winner on this occasion – an indication of just what a different propostion Chelsea are with the Spanish playmaker in the team.
Fabregas has been a revelation alongside fellow summer signing Diego Costa, and the Blues remain five points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
They followed up their win at Palace with a commanding 6-0 win in the Champions League over Maribor, and look better placed than ever to make a real fight for that title under Mourinho.
But the Chelsea boss is not finished there, with reports suggesting the Blues may well to strengthen even further in the January transfer window.
But with it common place with Chelsea that almost every player in Europe will be linked at one point or another, we have gone through the rumours and come up with five players we simply can’t see moving to Stamford Bridge this winter.
