Tottenham head into the Premier League weekend on the back of a disappointing 4-1 defeat to Manchester City at the Etihad.
Mauricio Pochettino seems to be faced with that same old problem of Tottenham struggling away against the top sides, despite the fact this was a marked improvement on the 6-0 hammering suffered last season in the corresponding fixture.
Tottenham could have infact got something out of the game, having equalized through Christian Eriksen, and then later missing a penalty through Roberto Soldado.
There have been several encouraging signs for Pochettino during the opening months of his reign, but he will know more than anyone his side is far from the finished article.
