Another era of Jose Mourinho is up and running at Stamford Bridge, with the Portuguese coach returning to the side he won two league titles with in three years before being dismissed in 2007.
Mourinho has been tasked with making Chelsea the title challenging force they once were, with Carlo Ancelotti the only man to come anywhere near achieving the level of success he enjoyed in the six years since his departure.
Whilst Roberto Di Matteo achieved wonders in winning the Champions League during his spell as caretaker, that success came during a season Chelsea were at their poorest in the Premier League, ending up in sixth place.
Mourinho will look for an immediate return to winning ways, and to do that he will need to spend this transfer window bringing in the right players and disposing of the deadwood.
It appears the club have missed out already on two of their top targets in the form of Edinson Cavani and Radamel Falcao, so Mourinho’s plans may have changed somewhat.
Nevertheless, he has proven he is not a man afraid to make tough decisions, and no doubt there will be departures from Stamford Bridge this summer. He we have identified the five we feel supporters would most like to see the back of.
