Arsenal fans are still struggling today after a weekend spent celebrating in the Football Transfer Tavern.
The Gunners will never get a better opportunity to end their eight-year-trophy drought, after drawing Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup semi-final, for a place against either Sheffield United or Hull City in the final.
The 4-1 win over Everton on Saturday was impressive, and Manchester City’s shock defeat to Wigan at the Etihad Stadium yesterday makes Arsene Wenger’s men overwhelming favourites for the trophy.
The results have come at exactly the right time for Wenger, who saw his team bounce back from recent defeats to Bayern Munich and Stoke City.
A Champions League recovery is looking almost impossible, whilst Arsenal have perhaps the toughest run in of all the title challengers, as they trail leaders Chelsea by seven points – however they do have a game in hand.
An FA Cup win and a strong title challenge between now and the end of the season would represent a succesful season for Wenger.
But with Arsenal continuing to demand more, movement would be expected in the summer transfer window in order to strengthen further.
Not only will there be incomings, but also outgoings.
We take a look at five players we think are destined for the exit door at Arsenal this summer.
