David Moyes is barely into his second week of official management at Manchester United, and already it must feel worlds apart to what he is used to.
The Scot was unveiled as Sir Alex Ferguson’s successor on July 1, and has since been busy appointing his backroom staff, looking to secure the future of a certain Wayne Rooney, and looking to recruit new players including his former Everton full back Leighton Baines.
United won the league at a canter last season, and all eyes will be on Moyes and his side to see how they perform without a certain Sir Alex Ferguson on the touchline.
The pressure is certainly on for Moyes, and he knows the transfer window will be a crucial time to build the squad he thinks can give his side the best possible start to their Premier League campaign.
Reports suggest he is looking to freshen up the midfield and the attack, with big name strikers, central midfielders and wingers all being linked to the club on a daily basis.
For Moyes to stamp his authority on things, he may have to also show a few the exit door. Here we have identified five players that should that fate fall upon them, we don’t think United fans would shed too many tears.
