Whilst it has been close to the perfect start to the 2014/15 season for Chelsea, reports suggest Jose Mourinho still wants to make some changes to his squad when the January transfer window opens.
One name that has been strongly linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge is German forward Andre Schurrle, with Liverpool being linked with a £25 million move.
The Blues have also been linked with new signings, the likes of Brazilian striker Talisca, German star Marco Reus, Portuguese starlet William Carvalho and La Liga’s star defenders Gerard Pique and Raphael Varane.
Despite sitting comfortably at the top of the Premier League and assured of progression to the last 16 of the Champions League, Mourinho wants to add further to his fearsome Chelsea squad.
But in order to do so – given that Financial Fair Play is now a factor – the Chelsea boss will be forced to shift some players if he is to add further quality.
Here we have identified five players who could end up following Schurrle out of Stamford Bridge this winter.
