Where do we start with Manchester United’s season so far?
David Moyes has struggled to adapt to life at Old Trafford, although the manager can’t be solely to blame.
Sir Alex Ferguson heavily relied on Robin van Persie to get him out of trouble at times last season and Moyes has not had that luxury.
However it is in the midfield where the real problems lie, with deadline day panic buy Marouane Fellaini unimpressive so far Moyes has resorted to playing the likes of Ryan Giggs and Phil Jones in the centre of his side.
Michael Carrick’s injury has only highlighted the lack of options available to Moyes and the former Everton boss will almost certainly be forking out for some fresh blood in January.
A whopping 13 points behind leaders Arsenal and seven adrift of the Champions League spots, Moyes needs to turn things around in order to prevent a catastrophic season unfolding.
