The 3-0 defeat to Roberto Martinez’s side was yet another painful away day to a top five club. The Gunners have now conceded a combined total of 20 goals on their travels to Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Everton this season – managing just four in reply.

#WengerOut has been all over Twitter once again, as a season that early on promised so much for Arsenal appears to now be in tatters.

But to all those Gunners fans feeling down after another disappointing weekend, hang on in there.

It’s not all over yet, and you could yet finish the season with smiles on your faces.

An FA Cup semi-final against Wigan Athletic will provide a welcome distraction from Premier League woes next weekend, with the chance to end a nine-year trophy drought a huge motivation for the rest of the season.

And whilst the title is now out of reach, the top four most certainly isn’t – despite the fact yesterday’s result left Everton’s fate in their own hands.
